This makes me cry from laughing so hard. I think any man whose wife has went through labor NEEDS to do this.

I think when you murder babies for a living, your soul has been damaged. And a man who shows utterly no remorse or regret, his soul may just be beyond repair. I believe in the far reaching mercies of God, but I hope the man fries.
I also agree that it is more than just Gosnell who deserves punishment.

Sometimes being “that parent” feels kinda lonely ;) My husband and I are on the same page, but when all their friends parents dote on their kids, our boys lament about having to do chores and not have the nicest things. We try to give our kids good stuff, and sometimes I worry that we are giving them too nice of things, too easily. So it feels good to know we are not alone ;) Thanks for this post. I’m gladly right there with ya. If my guys NEED something, I will buy it for them. If they want something, they will work for it by doing chores or finding neighbors they can help out and then I will get it for them. Until they are old enough to get a job, then they can get their “wants” themselves. I want my boys to learn that sometimes it takes a while to earn enough for it and to be patient and that they can live without it. Materialism is making today’s children tomorrow’s entitled grown children and I refuse to give my children to it without a fight!

She’s such a good person, Sandra Fluke. A good person to make fun of. But why they give her a platform is WAY BEYOND ME.

Awesome post! It is good to see all these facts written down!

Great article. It is sad that kids these days are SO jaded about this. We need to strengthen families. We need to work hard for them. Turn off the tv and movies for our kids, turn off TMZ and entertainment tonight. Stop reading People and start reading the Bible and family strengthening books and invest in our families again.
This is a great article. and so very needed. Thanks, Michelle!

I think there is something to be said for preparation, but I don’t there is a need to simulate live fire for little children. I wouldn’t want that happening to my kids if they attended a school (I homeschool). Life is scary enough without adding the unnecessary trauma. I tell my kids what to do about strangers, I don’t purposefully put them in “practice” situations. That is the same scenario. Do they set fire to a building to do fire drills? Nope. Why do this then….

I’m in complete agreement with you. I cannot stand that they aren’t doing what they are supposed to do. It’s ridiculous

My Choice. My Family. My Right.

In a press conference on January 24, 2013, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced legislation that would ban the manufacture, importation, sale and transfer of more than 120 specifically named firearms, and many more semi-automatic weapons that have one or more "military-style" features. (i.e. weapons that look scary) Included in the ban are weapons that accept a detachable magazine, and those with fixed magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

"No weapon is taken from anyone," said Feinstein during her explanation of the bill. "The purpose is to dry up the supply of these weapons over time." (so, you and I may not lose our weapons, but our children and grandchildren's supply will be 'dried up' if this piece of legislation is passed) To Senator Feinstein's latest attack on the Second Amendment, we say a hearty 'no thanks'! We prefer to exercise our own right to choose--a right that Senator Feinstein vehemently supports when it comes to a woman's right to "protect" herself from the burden of a child.

Co-sponsors of the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 include Senators Dick Durban (D-IL), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy (D-CONN). Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has not yet announced his support.

If you oppose Senator Feinstein's bill, we ask that you take a moment and sign the petition below.

Dear Senator Feinstein,

Like you, I was deeply saddened and angered by the events that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary on December 14, 2012. My heart breaks for the families who lost children that day.

Unlike you, I do not believe the answer is another gun control bill. You claim that the Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 will save lives. On the contrary, I believe that by restricting the rights of law-abiding citizens, you are putting my life, and that of my family, at greater risk.

I, the undersigned, believe I have a right not only to protect my family, but a right under the U.S. Constitution to choose how I do so. You do not have the authority to interfere with the rights of law abiding citizens.

I ask that you withdraw your bill from consideration. I ask that this tragedy not be turned into another opportunity for those of you in Washington to play politics with our lives.

With respect,

Great post! I myself have been plagued with those same feelings of hopelessness and such! Isn’t it nice to know we aren’t alone and we have other patriots to team up with!
