Mike Pompeo (R-KS04) Pens Letter to Sen. Baucus!

Mike Pompeo, the Kansas Congressman from District 4 pens a letter to Senator Max Baucus after Baucus called the Healthcare Bill "a train wreck." It is a wonderful letter and points out that without Baucus the debacle called "Obamacare" would not have passed!!!

This one is worth printing out and passing on!

Fiscal Cliff Easily Explained!

Our country is headed for bankrupt. Compare it to a family budget and one can easily see why.

This rather brilliantly cuts thru all the political doublespeak we get.
It puts it into a much better perspective.

* U.S.Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
* Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
* New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000
* National debt: $1
6,000,000,000,000
* Recent budget cuts: $ 38,500,000,000

Let's now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:

* Annual family income: $21,700
* Money the family spent: $38,200
* New debt on the credit card: $16,500
* Outstanding balance on the credit card: $160,000
* Total budget cuts so far: $38.50

Kansas' Conservative Tsunami, Part II

In the Kansas Republican Primary race yesterday, we ousted the majority of our so-called "moderate" Republican Statehouse candidates. Senators who were blocking the conservative agenda of our Governor Sam Brownback are now gone. It was a great night! Kudos to the voters of Kansas!

The last two years have been such a frustration in our state, since these RINO-Senators would vote with democrats on the BIG issues! Then vote "conservative" on little no-matter bills in an effort to keep their "conservative" records intact. You see, in Kansas, one has to put a "R" behind their name to get elected. It has been incredibly hard to get rid of them because of their entrenched status,

But last night we did it! Senate majority leader Morris, who fought for big government at every turn was defeated by Larry Powell. Senator Owens, who is responsible for our embarrassing redistricting fiasco, (causing us to be the last state in the union to redistrict, by a Judge no less), also got the boot when he was trounced by Jim Denning.

A few RINOs won last night, mainly by having huge money piles, and by fooling their constituents into believing they are conservatives.Maybe they have learned the lesson and will vote more conservative after running the race of their lives!

Most of our candidates were outspent at least 2 to 1, despite what our liberal state news media says. We had a huge influx of money by labor unions, teachers unions, and gambling concerns flood our state. Kansas Watchdog dug into this, and found out where a lot of the money came from: HERE.

Bob Weeks, at WichitaLiberty.org does a great job of explaining the races last night also. HERE.

The left, led by the NEA President, instituted an' "Operation Chaos" and encouraged a few thousand Democrats to change their voter affiliation to Republican so they could vote for the RINO incumbents!

Shockingly, even the New York Times got involved in our Primary. They wrote an article supporting the KS "Moderates." I posted on Facebook "Vote against the NY Times!" and got quite a few  "likes!" (You can find the link yourself if you want, I am not linking to it!)

Now it is on to November! We realize that even more liberal money from across the nation will be flowing in to Kansas to try and defeat the conservative agenda. It is going to be a huge battle. National Review blogged a piece entitled "The Battle for Kansas." HERE.

So, fellow Conservatives, Kansas is sending a message. We are motivated and energized. We are organized. And we are ready to turn back the big government trajectory that our State has been following for many years.  I can only hope that this is also the mood and feeling for the rest of the country as we all vote for Conservative Kansans and Romney in November!

PS. I just saw this article in the Huffington Post, blaming the Koch brothers of course--our version of the "blame Bush" narrative! HERE.
