A recipient of the Family Research Council “Family Faith and Freedom” award and the Cornerstone Policy Research “William Wilberforce” award, she was selected by NH Magazine as one of their “Remarkable Women.” The former host of a weekly radio show called “New Hampshire Policy and People” Karen was a 2010 candidate for governor,. In addition to founding Cornerstone Policy Research, and First Principles, Karen is a member of the board of the New England region of Pure Hope, works closely with the NH Right to Life Education Foundation, and is the State 535 Director for Concerned Women of America in New Hampshire. Karen continues to build broad coalitions of diverse groups to accomplish common goals. These have included pro family, pro gun, taxpayer groups, political leaders, military groups and religious leaders. She is also active with the Coalition of NH Taxpayers, Faith Based Action Network, the New Hampshire Alliance, NH Firearms Coalition, All Saints Anglican Church, NH Right to Life, and the Abstinence Advisory Committee of Health and Human Services.
