From now until the end of May, I will be limited in time for additional volunteer responsibilities due to municipal elections coming up, and pulling in vendors for the âThe Missouri Rally for Common Senseâ on May 19th (I just added the event to SGP: http://smartgirlpolitics.ning.com/events/the-rally-for-common-sense-2012 ).
Idea ~ do you think SGP would be interested in getting a booth for the vote project or something else? J I would think it would be great. Please check out the link ~ it really is going to be huge! I would not be able to host a booth for I am part of the Staff for the event.
I think I could be helpful in the voter registration drive in June, since I am coordinating my county for the Missouri Precinct Project. The goals match up perfectly. I will be identifying conservative voters and registering as needed, and could also find out their top issues.
I am not sure I could be in charge of it, but I could help organize a regional outreach and/or training events. My position on the Steering Committee for my Tea Party should be of use for that.
In Sept-Nov, I assume I will be able to help in some of the areas as well.
