My name is Lorena Lopez, I am a teacher by profession and a mother of two young children. I was married to an engineer who had an attorney and I didn’t. I lost custody of my children for that one reason. Rather than crying about my situation, I decided to enjoy every minute I had with my children. Unfortunately, my plan failed when I realized that even though I had rights for visitation that did not mean that I was going to see my children. I would go pick up the kids and my ex-husband was not home. I would call the police and their words were “Mam, this is a civil matter, you need to contact your attorney”. I did not have one at the time, since I was a stay home mom and a student teacher.


I need a group of woman who are conservative to help me make it a law for police to enforce visitation.


Too many great parents are being taken advantage including many great moms like myself.


For my kids and for my students who are growing up without their great moms or dads, please help me make it a law that police can enforce visitation at the instant it happens without having to go through the travel of filing a motion to contempt and wait for a hearing. And without having to hire an attorney, pay $5000 dollars to have our rights be enforced.
